Study Type |
Behavioral weight loss study |
Study Purpose |
To examine different components of a weight loss intervention that could be used as a low-cost weight loss program for individuals with cardiovascular disease. |

If eligible, you will receive a 6 month online behavioral weight loss program designed for patients with cardiovascular disease. You may also be randomized to receive other treatment interventions such as an exercise intervention, a bite counter device, a behavioral weight loss virtual reality intervention, and/or receive virtual meetings on different weight loss strategies. Participants will have to complete a baseline, 3 month, and 6 month assessment which will involve completing questionnaires and wearing a physical activity monitor and bite counter for a week. Compensation for these visits will be provided. |
