KayLoni Olson, PhD, is an Assistant Professor (Research) in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Alpert Brown Medical School and Weight Control and Diabetes Research Center of The Miriam Hospital. She received her PhD from Ohio State University in 2017. She completed her predoctoral clinical psychology residency on the Obesity Clinical Research Track at the Weight Control and Diabetes Research Center and Brown Medical School followed by postdoctoral training on the NHLBI-funded Cardiovascular Behavioral Medicine T32. She is currently funded on an NIDDK career development award and is a licensed clinical health psychologist in the state of Rhode Island.
