   -  The Miriam Hospital  
   -  Centers for Behavioral and Preventive Medicine
at the Lifespan Academic Medical Center.  
 



The primary objective of our Center is to foster a multidisciplinary approach to research in the field of obesity prevention and treatment. 

Through our program of scientific research we seek to:

  Expand our knowledge of the causes and consequences of obesity.

  Develop innovative and effective treatments for weight loss and weight
     maintenance.

  Offer quality obesity treatment to the community through ongoing
     clinical trials. 

  Provide advanced training for interns and postdoctoral fellows
     interested in obesity research.
