J. Graham Thomas, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Brown Medical School and the Weight Control & Diabetes Research Center of The Miriam Hospital. His primary research interests include behavioral strategies for long-term weight maintenance, health outcomes in bariatric surgery, and the application of technological innovations for weight control. Dr. Thomas also conducts research in the area of eating disorders, with an emphasis on their relationship to overweight. He has several publications and numerous professional presentations in the area of obesity and eating disorders. Dr. Thomas received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Drexel University in 2009.
